Works were sequenced around live production so the plant maintained export accreditation and output throughout the programme.
Each stage was isolated with temporary hygienic barriers, with night and weekend shifts used for tie-ins to refrigeration and electrical services.
The completed upgrade increased chilled capacity by 40% and modernised staff amenities across the site.
